I travel, I write (mostly but not solely) about travel, I make music, I take pictures. Five long journeys (totaling some 39 months) in the period 2014-2024 have resulted in two travel reports: van Andaman tot Ameland and Het Perpetuum Mobile. These books are written in my native language, Dutch. Some texts on this site are chapters from these books. They will be printed on coated paper and contain more than 75 photos per book. Most of the texts on this website are also in the Dutch language but probably I will translate a few of them into English in the nearby future. If you are interested in reading my books (and if you master the Dutch language of course), please send me a message. I will then send them to you using the printing on demand service. The costs are 25 euros per book including shipping costs within the Netherlands. The e-book (pdf format) costs 8 euro. You can also order photo prints using the contact form. My electronic music project, Byte Plantation, is on Bandcamp. About the name of this site: De reismantel means travel cloak in Dutch.
